How to stop Gerald auto-debits

Self-help fill-in form. Not legal advice. This only helps you stop automatic withdrawals — it does not erase or cancel what you owe.

In Gerald's own words

"The Advances are offered on a nonrecourse basis. You do not have an obligation to repay any Advance you receive."

Gerald terms, Section 5.3 · Read the live terms · Checked 2026-10-14

Heads up: Gerald's Terms (Sec. 5.3) say all Advances, cash and Buy Now, Pay Later, are nonrecourse. Monthly Cranberry Mobile plan charges are different: Gerald says it can collect those. Revoking repayment doesn't refund Cornerstore purchases. Terms last modified May 14, 2024; check the version in your app.

How to send it

  1. Email it to support@joingerald.com from the email on your Gerald account.
  2. Email support@joingerald.com (or in-app support), and tell your bank.
  3. Send the bank letter too, so your bank blocks future debits from Gerald.
  4. Keep a copy and the date you sent it.

⏰ Notice period: No notice period stated ('pursuant to its terms'). Debits already scheduled or processing may still go through.

After revoking: Denied future advances/services until paid.

Make my Gerald stop letter

Not legal advice, and not debt relief or credit repair. Stopping auto-debits doesn't cancel what you owe.
